I'm from LA, Ca. I just signed up for the European Contrasts (31 days) vacation (Aug. 28 depart) and was wondering who else will be going. I am a single male so it would be great to meet a few new people before we meet up in London.

You got me excited for a sec! I haven't found anyone going on the Aug 28 Contrasts yet, so I might have to change my trip to the 30th like you. The only problem is that it is not a guaranteed departure... but it does find its way to Oktoberfest Know of anyone else going on 30 AUG? I'd hate to sign up for that date and then have it cancelled because of not enough travellers going.

Hi no i was going to go on the 1st of september one and cancelled it cus it wasnt a guaranteed trip while the Aug 30- Sep 27 is a definate departure .. what thing are you looking at?? i can only get september off from work so it was really hard to book cant go any later or earlier!! come on the 30th trip at least i no someone else is coming.. where bouts you live??

also there is no 28th departure and the european contrasts only goes for 28 days .. so what are you indeed looking at haha.. cancel watever and come with me it'll be brilliant haha

Hello again! Glad to hear back from you. You are funny "cancel watever and come with me" Here is the deal... I already set up my trip for Aug 28th Contrasts and received my doc's from my travel agent. I also paid my deposit but nothing else. I was actually just looking right at the dates on the Web site for the Contrasts tour so we MUST be looking at 2 different things I am going to call my travel agent today and see what my options are. If i can, I will move it back 2 days so we can be on the same trip cause so far nobody is on the 28th tour from what I see. BTW, I am from California Have you already signed up for your tour? Oh, also, the Aug. 30 Contrasts tour ends on Sept. 29 and is not guaranteed dapart because it does not have the little check mark next to the date. However, it has the little cross thing next to Aug. 30 and that means it tours in Munich during Oktoberfest. I don't know how thats possible since we won't be there in October... maybe it starts a week before October or something. Either way, I will talk to my travel agent and see what he says.

my site says the 29 days is the european contrasts and the august 30- sept 27 has a definate departure cus it has the tick next to it but we miss out on the oktoberfest.. the one underneath it sept01-sept29 is the non definate departure and has the oktoberfest your confusing me now haha yea i have booked mine as well just paying it off and my cheap airline ticket hehe

hey rokkit3, yeh I agree with lara, I'm also going on 30th Aug, and it's a 28 day tour, guarunteed departure and we miss Oktoberfest!
And this is going off the Contiki website and the Contiki brochure. I reckon it does sound like ur maybe looking at the one underneath on the 1st Sep..? I dunno, or could u be looking at a different tour by mistake?

Hi alexis25. You girls (laraj182) are confusing the @#$% out of me! I really want to make sure I get on the same tour as you all but I must be looking at a different schedule or something. I don't even see a 1 Sept. depart date at what I am looking at. What is your email? I will send you a screenshot of the schedule I am looking at. I want to get to the bottom of this once and for all! The one I am looking at says that the AUG 30 trip hits Munich during oktoberfest. haha jeez ur so confusing!! haha ok im goin on european contrasts tour that start in LONDON has 29 days starts the 30 august finishes the 27th september and it DOESNT go to oktoberfest if we went on the 1st of september we would make it to oktoberfest but that one isnt guaranteed departure and finishes too late for my work.. my email is laraj182@hotmail.com email me something has gone wrong in america your computer is bizzare!!

Damn american computers! lol. I just replied back to you in an email so make sure you check that. im not really worried about oktoberfest... i just want to make sure we get on the same trip !
