is anyone doing this same tour around may?? i am just waiting for the dates to come out so i can book everything. i cant wait. or if anyone has done this tour id love some helpful advice. cheers..

Hi! My friend and I are doing the tour may 14 we've already booked even though the final dates aren't released yet. It sounds like alot of fun so hope u can book soon too.

thats good to know someone else is thinking that far ahead. yeh we were looking at the 14th cos that was the gauranteed departure. we are booking by the end of this month hopefully. where are you from??

our travel agent just confirmed the departure date will be the 16th of May (not 14th). We're from Perth, and you?

hey i am not really sure but every where i have read most people are saying 100 euros. i dont want to be limited though as its my first big holiday and ill be doing most of the optionals. i think ill just save as much as i can and then if i need to use a credit card. 100 euros sounds plenty tho. the most confusing thing would be exchange rates. have you got your luggage yet?? its hard finding something i like without a metal frame. im sure ill find something.

Hi Tilli, I got my luggage and sleeping bag from mountain Designs. They were haveing a sale and will have one again I'm sure. You can also sign up to be a member and get discounts. I also got a swiss army knife and quick dry towel from there. Hope all goes well at the travel agents tomorrow. We went through STA in Carillion - very helpful and discounts if u under 26.

hey thanx for that. i was actually thinking bout mountain designs cos i have been hearing bout it alot on the radio lately. might go there n check it out. travel agent was ok. didnt book nething as she has to call contiki and check discounts. the hardest thing i have to work out is where i want my stopover. with emerates its dubai or singapore airlines which obviously stop in singapore. too many decisions.
