hi elise, i'll be taking some sort of big travel pack thing on wheels (if that makes sense at all), so to answer your question; neither. but i will be taking a smaller backpack for day trips and stuff. there are a few threads on suitcase vs backpack on the forums somewhere.

Im Nikki, Im 22 from Adelaide (South Australia).
Its less than two months now until we all meet and travel round Europe! Wow!

Btw, im taking one of those big backpacks. Im not a fan of suitcases. My backpack has a daypack that zips into it, too.

I was thinking of bringing this big gym bag type with wheels. You think the backpack will hold enough for the trip? I'm just asking so I know what to bring lol

I dont wanna take too much with me, and they weigh the bag at the start. so hopefully, i can have some room to buy stuff, otherwise ill send stuff home (like dirty socks, haha!) at amsterdam, as that is suppsoed to be cheap there.
I dont want to be heaving a suitcase around, and i read that there is a lot of high, narrow staircases and thigns, so i figured a backpack would be easier. To each their own! Im guessing i will buy tops and things while im in different countries and things, so im not planning on taking too many. I wil take a couple of dresses and things, but im generally a jeans and a top kinda girl..
Take whatever your most comfortable lugging around, worst comes to worst we can buy something else along the way!
