How many days will you be in London before the tour starts? I think me and Erin get there, the day before..

I would love to go on the London Eye, I've heard that it's a really spectacular view! And I just found out that there's a Platform 9 3/4 at the Kings Cross Station (so if any of you are Harry Potter fans, I will admit that I am lol, then that could be a good photo op! lol!)

The whole point of me mentioning the London Eye was to to encourage you to go...I got a little sidetracked and forgot to throw that in lol

hahahaha we will be arriving the day of so we have about 8 hours before meeting up. Apparently the hotel is an hour away from the airport and you take the metro to get there. I also heard that the traffic is crazy in London so those 2 hour bus tours may even take up to 3 hours. We'll figure it out though. I guess once we arrive how we'll plan it so that we're not late for the meeting. I think Maria is a big harry potter fan so I'll def pass that along to her.

i just turned 22! (i can't be the oldest can i!?)
i will be getting to London on the morning of the 20th. i would like to be there earlier, but i have exams at university, so had to leave it as late as possible Frowner
i will be staying afterwards in england about 5 or 6 days after the trip, either with relatives outside london, or in london itself. haven't decided yet. still looking at london accommodation. i'll be staying at the RN the night before and after the tour though. what about you guys?
also realised that there's less than 3 months to go!

Man, I'm starting to get a little nervous, I haven't been paying attention to the news and my dad told me today that the airline I'm going to be flying with could potentially go bankrupt....how exciting right? So fingers crossed that they don't go bankrupt!!

Im from Perth.

Im even more excited now, just booked my flights they were pretty cheap too so more spending $$.
Im definitely more than a little excited, i just want June to hurry up and be here already.

Im staying at the RN the night before and after the tour too, then have about 6 days left in London or where ever i feel like going after the tour. I'll probably move to backpackers, maybe Generator for my last few nights, i hear thats fun

actually just found the information...

"Contiki Tours in Europe have a luggage restriction of 1×20 kilogram (44lbs) bag and 1 x carry on (roughly 5 kilograms/12lb) bag. This weight restriction is for legal requirements within the European Union as well as for your comfort and safety. The size restriction of you main luggage is 73cm x 50cm x 25cm (29” x 20” x 10”) is also observed.

Bags are not measured however you bags will be weighed on tours departing from London and this weight limit is strictly enforced."
