I've booked on the the June 4th Contrasts tour with my friend, Sarah.  I'm 25, from North Coast NSW (Aus.). 

We're stopping over in Bangkok on the way over and Southern Thailand on the way home (koh samui, koh phangan).

If anyone else is doing this tour, or wants to meet up in London for a drink beforehand, let me know!

Guess we're all counting down the days to total oblivion or should I say to the bestest one month ever...

alright a bit of intro....

We're a bit of a mixed bag... we're a group of 3 mates from Melbourne...
we're all 25...and we didn't even have plans on going to Sydney in 2006.... but fate had other plans for us... which led us to the Travel Expo in Melbourne the other weekend... where we basically paid for and booked our trip and fligths in a span of close to 2 hours... talk about in the spur of the moment...lol...and NO, we weren't drunk....

Oh well, the important thing is... we're looking forward to havin' a party with you all...

And we still haven't figured out where we are going to stay in London... we reach there on the 3rd at around 7:00pm... and we could all meet up there and have a few drinks before we start off...

Congrats on booking our tour.  haha, its the best tour i reckon.  Don't you just love spur of the moment decisions!!??

I think most of us are staying at the Royal National, which is where the tour leaves from in the morning, you can get triple rooms there, so maybe get your travel agent to book it through contiki for you.  If you want somewhere cheaper, I think the generator hostel is nearby, supposed to be pretty wild, but a bit dodgy.

The night before the tour (the 3rd, when you arrive) I think there is usually a tour meeting on, so I reckon a few, or most, will be up for a few drinkies that night after it...bring it on!

the Royal National.. but I reckon we can get there only by around
10pm'ish... would u know how far this place is from the airport??? Even
though the Generator sounds like a bit of fun the dodgy part takes away
the appeal...lol.....

Hey Abe & other tour mates,

My name is Jade, 26 from Sydney.  Also doing tour on my own and cant wait.  The countdown is on.  I am holidaying in Fiji, New York and Toronto for a month before I arrive in London.  Will be getting into London 1st June and staying at Royal National as well.   Looks like a few of us will be there to get the party started before the tour starts.

I will heading to Amsterdam after the tour.  Have family in Holland and will be staying with them for about 2 months and ducking off to Norway in the meantime. Gotta love family who live all over the place.....

If you still interested in going, we could do a small tour of the Holland, sight see and visit those Cafes, we may have missed on tour...he he..

Anyone else, interested?

Also, if there is anyone else out there who plan to stayin London to live/work, as well let me know. I am abit overwhelmed with the amount of things to organise, living arrangements etc, so I would appreciate from hints and tips you may have.
