I think it would be great to chat or meet up before the tour.. will be nice to see at least one friendly face amongst the crowd! Anyone else out there doing this tour too??

I arrive in London on July 31st and am planning to do a little sight seeing and spend time with some friends who I'm meeting up with over there (As well as having the biggest birthday celebration I can manage on the 4th! - hopefully I'll recover BEFORE the tour starts!!)

It would be great to meet up either a few days or the day before the tour starts! - less then 4 months to go!!

I just booked this tour today after ages of poring over different companies and different tours... I finally decided this one.  I'm Helen, I'm 22 and from Perth, but I've been living and working in the UK for the last year as a primary school teacher.  I'm doing this tour when the school year finishes to spend all the money I've earnt before heading back to Australia!  Anyway I look forward to chatting to you guys!  So excited now!  :-D

I seem to be the oldest person who's on the contrasts 9th Aug tour!   Am 25 and very excited!  No worries... I can keep up with all you early 20's folk! haha... Am looking forward to meeting all of you!!!

I'm staying with friends in London before the tour and will be travelling alone on the tour.  Then will be working in London in advertising for a year.

My names Nathan, my friends call me Nate. Im 23 from Perth W.A., go the west OZ. So the crew is starting 2 build, i like it. This is gonna be a sweet trip for sure. Im flying out on the 7th via Singapore. Arrive on the morning of the 8th stay'n Royal National. Then we drink BEER. No Fosters. Anyone else fly'n the big Q to Singapore, think i roll in there round 9pm on the 7th. Well enjoy all and stay safe.

Im jonty, 18 from South Africa!! I posted info about myself on the other 9th august forum effort!
Im going 2 be in london for 2 months b4 the tour, and it now looks like 2 of my mates are coming along! so at least there will be some competion for all u aussies! Plan 2 drink lots of beer, and have a major party!! Im sure any1 with the same outlook will have an awesome time with me and possibly my 2 freinds!!

I am Maxine, I am also on the 9th aug tour! I am travln alone to form New Zealand!  Leavn NZ on the 6th aug via Sydney, Dubai & arrive in london on the 7th aug round lunch! I have booked a room at the royal National Hotel untill the tour leaves! Would be keen for a drink or 6 after that flight hehe!

Hiya, I got my tour documents last week - its an itinerary and weird kinda voucher things that look important.  It comes in a snazzy lil contiki pouch. 

At the moment I'm wondering about being able to use credit cards and mobile phones in Europe.  Anyone have any info?

My boyfriend is coming on this trip with me now too, which is cool, except we had to scrimp and save to pay for him and now we're poor and can't eat this month.  Doh!
