Anyone from Canada doing a Contrasts tour this Summer? Hoping to meet some tour buddies a bit early!

im doing the euro inspiration in may/june.
no one seems to be doing that one. i am a bit worried it will be cancelled, but i guess its early.

I'm doing the Contrasts Tour departing on September 5 from London. Should be awesome! When were you thinking of going?

Hi Chris, I did the european escapade tour in May 2005. It was 25 days and i met some great people. White water rafting and paragliding is a must. The pros are you are travelling with a group of people who are around the same age and want to experience travelling at a low cost and have fun while doing it. The cons are some of the showers are disgusting, but what you expect when you share with others (remember your rubber thongs. Be careful of getting on 'too well' with contiki staff, they keep tabs on those who are more promiscuous then others and phone the next village you go to, to let the next lot of staff know. If you are into that kind of thing that's cool as long as you are aware. But my advice is if you want to get intimate, get it on with the locals. Also be careful of getting too 'well aquainted' with guys/gals on your tour it is not like home and it is hard to avoid them for the rest of the tour. I have read both good and bad reviews on contiki and honestly i would not be doing it again if i did not see the value. I have travelled solo and they both have their pros and cons. If you need any other advice let me know.
