Most of my girlfriends have either already been overseas or have just got married/bought a house etc so aren't in a position to go. I've been wanting to go for ages but got married last year so have been saving like crazy. My hubby isn't really interested in going (plus we can't really afford it) but my bro in law has always wanted to go so we might as well go together. I think i'd kill my friends if I travelled with them!
arhhh ok.... how come everyone these days are getting hitched so young???... couple of my mates are married aswell. how old are you anyway? yeah gotta love travelling, its the best... cant beleive u havent been overseas before!
hahaha I'd say the opposite - how come everyone these days is either getting married so old or not at all?
I'm 26 - 27 in Feb
I'm really looking forward to this trip. Travelling has sort of been a last priority for me. Buying my own house was definitely number one - can't believe people my age still live with their parents!! Then getting married was number 2 after buying the house! I could have spent all my savings on a trip but have nothing to come home to. Definitely not an appealing thought to me. One of my mates is going overseas for a few months next year as well by himself. Still lives with his parents, and will have nothing to come back to (no place, no girlfriend etc). Sounds pretty **** to me. That's what i would expect for a 20 year old but not for someone my age.
Hello. I just booked this trip today and am so excited! I am 27, traveling alone, and from the United States. Is anyone going to London a few days early before the tour starts? I plan on going a few days early but have not booked my flight yet.

That's great!! I can't wait til we go! I am 26 and travelling with my brother in law. We will be arriving in London 2 days before the tour - staying at the royal national :-)

Did you grow up in Sydney? Are your friends going on the trip with you from Sydney too?

Yeah I got em back - thankfully. My residence manager fished them out with a measuring tape. Wow what cool places to live. I am assuming you pretty much always lived by the ocean which is aweswome. I love living near the mountains but I really miss the ocean. Do you do any water sports?
