My girlfriend Kerry and I booked today for the European Contrasts tour that departs London on June 16 next year.

We tossed up between Contiki and Top Deck, and then between this tour and a similar Time Out tour, but in the end this one had everything we wanted.

It'd be great to hear from anyone else who has booked for this tour, especially for the same departure date.

My name is Abby Joyce I'm 18 and are booked for the same tour and date. I hope more people book or it will probably be put back. I live in Australia and am leaving on the 27th of May from Brissie I plan to stay for four month, providing my money lasts. Yeah I looked at top deck too but the travel agent said contiki was fare better organised, and also my sister has been on this exact tour already and she loved it, still talks about it 4 years later....nice to know other people are going too lol.

After coming back here to look for replies every three days or so for the first month after I posted initially, I had given up on anyone responding, until I got bored at work just now.

Five months and five days until my girlfriend and I jet off from Sydney. I'd be more excited if I didn't have so much saving to do...

Have you goys realised our trip in is Munich for the World Cup final weekend? We arrive the day of the third-place playoff and leave the day of the final. I'm not even a soccer (football) fan and I'm looking forward to it!

G'day fellow June 16 Contrasters.

I'm Michael, I'm from Melbourne, Australia.

I finished up uni at the end of 2004, and after working for a year felt that it was time for a break, so I booked in this tour. I have 6.5 weeks off work, so I have a week in London at either end of the trip.

I'm leaving Melbourne on June 8th and travelling by myself.

Im also doing the Europe Contrasts tour from June16 until July 14. Very excited to read that we will be in Munich at World Cup time!! (not that Im a soccer fan, but would love the atmosphere) 

I am also arriving at London on the 8th of June for 1 week spare time and then I have also planned another week of unplanned time after the tour to explore... Leaving the UK on the 22nd July to go back home to work (not looking forward to that)

I?m 25, from Brisbane and am traveling solo. I am actually doing a 3 week trip to Thailand & Cambodia with some friends first, then flying to London on the 9th. Is everybody staying at the Royal National on the 15th? We should catch up for a drink that night?

After the tour, I am planning on settling in London & getting a job. I actually handed in my notice at work yesterday ? it is starting to feel very real!!!

I am travelling with 4 mates, all from Melbourne ages range form 21-24, were going to Cairo B4 the trip and Spain and London after it.

All together our tour goes for 2 months but if I can find work im planning to stay for longer.

I am not going on your tour and have nothing to do with it.
So you are probably thinking who is this w..ker.

Well I just wanted to tell you how envious I am.
I went on Contrasts late last year and had the month of my life!!!!!!

I will be over there again but travelling Eurorail eastern Europe nations.

Live it up when on tour. Its a great time, with amazing places to see.
Your best accommodation will be in Florence and Vienna I found.
Don't think Corfu will be idyllic, but its still relaxing.

Honestly I am envious, you sound like you have a good crew going here.

Well everyone, our trip is now guaranteed!!  And only about a month left until the tour!!  I can't wait!  I just got back from Italy last week and it was AMAZING!  I can't wait to see another side of it with all of you!
