less than 6 months people!!!

YAY!

It's only five and a half months until I leave for Germany! There are so many public holidays in between now and then - Easter, Australia Day, Labour Day, ANZAC Day and the Queen's Birthday Holiday. The next five months are going to fly by!!!!

i hope so. i have literally been counting down the days since i booked. Hopefully once uni starts up this year time will go a bit faster

what date are you arriving in london before the tour?

We arrive on the 7th of July in the evening so we have two full days in London before the tour. And our flight home isnt until the day after the tour ends - at about 8pm - so we get that whole day as well.

We are planning to see Stonehenge as well as the London sights and are hoping to stay at Journey's Backpackers near the London Eye. We are staying at the Royal National the night we get back though coz we will be too tired i think.

What are your plans for London?

we get to England on the 6th of July, staying at Royal National, and after the tour we leave on the 8th too but our flight is at 4 something.

We have no idea what we are going to do in London, theres heaps of things we want to see but just havent set it all in stone yet.

i just want it to hurry up and come!
i have my birthday over there too while we are on tour

I just wanted to know what kind of clothes are you intending to take with you??

me and my friends have been discussing the whole clothes issue whenever we are together...
i'm thinking of taking 1 pair of jeans, mayb 2?!
one nice going out dress, a couple of causual ones, that i could get away with wearing out at night or in the day and then a few pairs of shorts and lots of singlets and tee's.
that what im thinking at the moment anyway, i'm not a light traveler so its going to be mighty difficult!

Yeah that was about the same as what I was thinking.

I was planning to bring a few pairs of shorts and heaps of shirts, plus a casual dress and 1 or 2 pairs of jeans/jumper just in case. I have a nice black dress for wearing to fancy places and thats about it.

What extra's are you bringing? I have a mini hair straightener, my boyfriend bought my a travel pillow and I have a backpack to use during the day. I'm packing everything in an 80L hiking backpack coz i have weak arms so suitcases arent my thing.
