My boyfriend and I just booked in for the July 10 2009 tour. He has been to Europe before but I havent. We are spending a week in Germany with friends prior to the tour as well as doing EuroDisney and London. Where are you coming from?

Hi Sam, I'm doing this same tour, already spoke to Megzy before. I'm doing this tour alone so i'm glad to finally meet some people. I'm from Victoria and i'm 26. I've got a each week in London after the tour.

We are both from Toowoomba in Queensland. I'm 20 and my partner is 23. We have planned to spend a week with friends in Germany followed by a couple of days at Disneyland in Paris and a couple of days in London, all prior to the tour. We will be heading straight home after the tour has finished as we both have to get back to uni.

It's good to meet some of the people we will be travelling with. I'm a bit more social than my boyfriend, Cameron, but we are both pretty outgoing. I'm sure we wont be one of those couples who stick together away from everyone.

yeah i done a contiki tho USA last year it was awesome, wanna go back to some places. I'm a bit social too but can be a bit sky to start with.

I'm getting so excited. We have 3 weeks off work at X-Mas and 2 weeks off in February. So I wont even notice all the time flying by!

Yeah I went to uni straight away to do teaching and i got sick of it after 2 years. Im now working full time - saving for our trip!

My boyf & I live in Toowoomba, QLD. NW of Brisbane.I dont know how we are going to concentrate for the next 6 months. He is studying at uni and i am doing som courses from home.

So are you travelling by yourself? What else are you going to do in your gap year?

hey sam, yeah my sister did excatly the same thing(teaching too) so she kept telling me to take a year off! Im really looking forward to a year in England- im working in a boarding school wth one of my best mates however she opted to do a camping 21 day tour.i think i convinced a friend of mine to do this tour and fly over and meet me..she booked so hopefully all goes thru! I have loads of holidays so im going to spend a month in ireland in april and then hopefully see parts of spain etc where the sun actually shines!

Hey guys again!

Unfortunately we wont have time to see Ireland before we go back to uni after the tour but we are hoping to head back over eventually. I'm stressing enough as it is trying to save as much money as I can. I have only been at my current job full time for about four months so i will only have about a week's holiday pay saved up by the time i go. I work for a doctor so I have to take holidays when he does which means I will not be working for 3 weeks over XMAS and 2 weeks in February when he is at a conference.

Hopefully with there being 2 of us though we can split a lot of stuff. I'm trying really hard at the moment to get fit and tone up. It's not going that well though because I have a tendancy to get bored easily and I never stick to anything! LOL.

Do you guys have any elaborate XMAS/New Years plans?

That sucks about not having time to go to Ireland...im going to be soo tired my parents are coming to visit me n have decided to book a tour for the 3 of us to go on 4 20 days around the UK.THE DAY AFTER contiki. Im excited but going to be soooo tired.
Im spending xmas at a beach near coffs harbour...trying to savour the sun before i head to England for the year! I hate money..its so fusterating!
