I have a few questions about the optionals and the accomodation

*bump* someone must have done it!

I haven't done a Contiki before, but I'm pretty sure all the budget tours that go through the same cities use the same accommodations and do most of the same optional excursions. So you could ask the same question on a general Europe Advice forum, not just here.
