Vanessa here i'm going on the june 2nd contrasts trip and i'm feeling the same way. I couldn't get into the 4th June trip it was booked out. Are you sure you have the correct date or tour. In my book there is no contrasts trip leaving on the 31st May. You should double check.
As for cancelling they give you 50 days notice if they are going to cancel and they give you other alternative trip options. I'm not to sure the minimum numbers for trip.

Maybe you could come on my contrasts tour it leaves 2days later on the 2nd June.

Thanks for getting back to me.
On my book there is only the departure for May 31st, but maybe June 2nd is the same thing, because I think it acutally starts the 2nd (for everyone to meet up and get settled).

I'm from Toronto, Canada, so maybe the departure dates are different, and the acutal day that it starts is June 2nd.

Sarah, you're right, the Canadians and the Americans tour brochures list the date you actually fly out of your country as the departure date, even though the tour doesn't start for another two days.

Our aussie brochure list the tour start date as the departure date, because we have to organise flights and accommodation beforehand by ourselves.

So you are both on the same tour!  Me, I'm on the June 4th departure, you never know, our paths may cross!

Yeah, now i'm excited. I've finally found someone going on my tour. At least i think so. I'm from the gold coast Australia and travelling solo. I can't wait. Just have to hope that they don't cancel the tour.

I'm staying at the royal national on the 31st may and 1st of June i may run into amber sometime then.

Yeah so it is the same trip; June 2nd is when we start. Wow! finally found someone with the same trip; my friend and I are travelling together and we were getting a little nervous about it being cancelled, but most people don't even know about these message boards anyways.

I am sooo soo stoked about this trip.  I'm going alone.  I've been to France once, but never done an extended trip - alone! - before.

i'll check that other message board out.  I was told by someone else who did a tour that Australians love to travel and they're all super nice so I look forward to meeting all the Aussies!

As for us aussies yeah we are very friendly people, if i say so myself. I love canadians, i actually would like to go there next year a do a snow season. So keep in contact.
