Hey guys, Moulin sounds good. Might as well see it while we're there. I'm interested as well

I really wish that they offered it as an optional activity over the Nouvelle Eve. I have been looking at a few sites and the tickets are about AUD$200. The Moulin Rouge website has them for 99 Euro. Contiki offer Nouvelle Eve for 70 Euro, I dont mind paying the bit extra to go to something that I really want to see.

Hi Gail, welcome aboard. I would worry about travelling on your own, you'll meet heaps of people. So where are you from.
Carlz, We might even be able to talk to contiki tour manager when we start, and see that if majority rules we might be able to go to the moulin instead. And being a contiki tour that might be able to get entry cheaper.

Im pretty sure Contiki offer the Moulin Rouge as part of their winter tours, so im not sure we will be able to convince the tour manager..(there may also be people who want to go to the Nouvelle Eve). Ive also heard that Moulin books out usually a couple of months in advance. Ill probably end up booking some tickets before I go to be on the safe side.

Carlz, You might bge right. I'm gonna ask the travel agent and see what she has to say. Cause if that's the case I'll book as well..

Hey guys, I'm from lil' country next to Australia called New Zealand haha. I'm based in Wellington, but my family is all in Auckland. Hi gail, my saving isn't going well at all... am finding the whole thing a bit depressing especially making changes in social life & of course shopping when there's massive sale on after xmas :-( But am counting days down telling myself how awesome this trip's gonna be!!

Hey Gail,
Ballarat is far but not that far, only a 5 hour drive or so. I lived in Ballarat for a couple of years. It's a very nice place and heaps of pubs!!. Saving money is getting there.
Welcome to the group Daria.
It's a bit late but HAPPY NEW TO ALL.
