Yep I'm going to travel before and after contiki, probably gonna head up to Scotland/Ireland before hand and gonna stay a few nights in London with my sister in the week before the 10th... don't know about after, just see how it all turns out! I'm dead keen to go to a few places we didn't travel through on contiki, so if anyone else is keen to travel after count me in...

I am so jealous - I wanted to do Scotland/Ireland after the tour but I'm already in negative leave and probably won't have the money either...

I'm not so much worried about the actual flight, just getting from the airport to the contiki hotel at 6.30am in a foreign city

Yeah i fly in that time too on the tuesday morning....bit scary. Still deciding if i should catch the underground thing cos its cheap and maybe get lost or pay a bit on a taxi cos they no wot there doin...

I've been told the underground is connected to the airport and lots of ppl should be going from the airport onto it. So hopefully safety in numbers. Just have to figure out which station to get off at I suppose

yeah I've been told that almost everyone catches the underground from the airport. Apparently taxi drivers are incredibly expensive and always try and rip off tourists so I'd probably try and avoid getting a taxi from the airport if you can. Unless you get lost which is probably what I will do...

Is there a limit on how big the back packs are? We can bring a backpack and suitcase yeah?

Yeah you can bring a suitcase and a carry on - I'm not sure if there are limits on the carry on though...
