I'm probably going to be doing the Guaranteed departure from september 5. I guess just one tour off... the other guaranteed ones are the 13th and the 19th

Sorry to hijack ur thread hipjaz! Maybe u should do the 5th Sep departure!!?? I think that goes through Oktoberfest also.

hey guys, on the webpage, it shows that the departure for the 5th of sept is not guaranteed (no orange checkmark) however it's an oktoberfest tour. the one on sept 11 has the guaranteed departure orange checkmark and is an oktoberfest tour...maybe our websites show different info???

Hey Hipjaz.. you kind of had me panicking there for a bit but i've checked the website and the contiki book and the september 5 tour is definitely guaranteed departure. Are there different websites within contiki for Aus, usa etc?

hey Lisa19....HELL YEAH!! i'm still thinking of going!! i'm going to put my deposit down in january. i'm travelling alone so i'm hoping that i'll make some friends (it'll suck to be lonley)
my trip departs on the 11 on sept but i'm sure it's the same one..it's just because im going forward in time and you guys are going backwards. good to know some people are as eager about this as i am. we should talk more about it

I'm thinking about doing the sept 13 contrast tour...just picked up the contiki book from the travel agent today and starting to look at flights etc....

I'll be travelling solo also...a bit scary but also really exciting....

I am new at this.....I only learned of this message board thing.

Anyway - myself and my housemate (lets call him skeeta) are off on this contiky tour also.

We live in Central Qld (West of Rockhampton)

We are pretty much only heading over to the UK for the tour, have a couple of days in London prior and only the one night post tour. We are flying home via penang and staying there for 4 nights....(flying Malaysian airlines)

This is a fantastic way to meet people before heading over there...feel free to say hullo.
