Hey all! Anyone planning on taking the Berlin to Budapest tour in March? I was going to go with a friend, but plans changed, and now I'll be going solo... anyone planning this trip?? I haven't booked but I was interested in either the March or April trip...

Hey, are you still thinking about taking the Berlin to Budapest tour on March 6th? I am booked to take that tour and am also going solo. It would be really nice to know at least one person on the tour lol.

I strongly considering booking this trip too in March 2009, and I will be going solo. I would agree with Krstyn086, I want to know at least one or more people before I go too.

This is awesome...I am new to this contiki thing so I am not quite sure how it works but it is pretty comforting to know that I can talk to other people who are thinking about taking the same tour as I am. Is the deadline for this trip not January 19 though? My travel agent says that everything has to be paid off by the 19th of January. Doesn't leave much time for consideration does it!! It seems like a great tour and should be a lot of fun

Yay! I'm excited now that it's not just me thinking about taking the trip. I'm going to call first thing in the morning and start planning.. Where are you all from.. did you get your plane tix already.. and did you get them through Contiki or on your own? I usually get them on my own but I have no idea if Contiki can get some awesome special deal on plane tix... very exciting.. it sounds like it's going to be amazing!!

Well, I booked my flight from Vancouver BC and it only cost me just over $1000. I was pretty excited about that! I think it is just way easier to go through contiki because then you do not have to worry about anything like whether or not the flight you book will get you there at the right time and that sort of thing. I was pretty nervous about this but now that I know there are other people out there who may be going I feel way better about it!

I think I will be taking this tour as well, I also will be travelling solo, where is everyone coming from? I have done 3 different contiki tours previously, they are great, really looking forward to getting out of town.

what other tours have you been on? this is my first so I do not know what to expect! I am in BC, Canada. It is kind of cool to have the chance to meet and travel with people from all over the world!

Is anyone doing just the Vienna to Budapest tour (i think it's just the last part of the Berlin to Budapest tour). I'm planning on going alone and have never done a Contiki tour before. I was told there are 25+ people already registered but I'm not sure how many of those are doing the whole tour and how many are doing just the part starting in Vienna. I'm flying in from Seattle, WA. It would be great to know people ahead of meeting everyone in Europe. Can't wait!

So I'm confirmed for the trip... so stoked!!! This is going to be my 3rd Contiki, and I absolutely cannot wait... it sounds like it's going to be super fun. I'm arriving a night earlier than the tour starts in Berlin and staying a couple extra nights in Prague after... Will anyone be there before or after?? Not even 2 months away.. I so need a break from crazy work!!

I have been on the Med Highlights two summers ago and this past September I did London Paris and Amsterdam. I took also did Check out London 5 days. Do you have a connecting flight?

I watched a youtube video about how these guys did not make it back to the bus in time and the tour just left without them! does that actually happen? I am the type of person to get lost in strange places lol so I do not want to get left behind! Umm I think the only flight connection I have is in Frankenfurt. I was thinking about taking the Med Highlights tour, it looks really cool.
