I threw out the idea back in january to the two of them, and with in 2 days we were making reservations...love it! i think there is like 30 something days left?? i would count but...i am currently being lazy due to a severe case of senior-itis. With us it happened kind of the same way. We wanted to go to Europe for a while and found these tours. We thought they'd be great for the first half but we really wanted to go off on our own as well. I guess Contiki will help us get our feet wet in Europe.

Afterwards I think it's Venice, Munich, Amsterdam and London...should be cool!

I have a feeling us Indiana boys are in for a culture shock...should be a blast.

And senioritis is understandable. I think I have "job-itis" every day now that I graduated.

Where are you graduating from?

I am graduating from the University of connecticut with my BS in AThletic training. Going to Ithaca college for a Masters and assitantship.

My friend and I just graduated last May (I can't believe it's been a year). He's an electrical engineer and I'm a civil engineer. My bro is a bit younger, he's going to be a Junior and going for education.

Are you guys bringing luggage or a backpack? I think we're going backpack since we're sticking around Europe for a bit after tour.

What about money? Are you guys doing anything special or just bringing credit/debit cards?

Clothes wise, how much stuff are you bringing? It sounds like I might wear the same stuff every day, lol...

That's all I've got. I've done a ton of research so we should be good to go. I honestly wish we were going tomorrow, I can't wait.

Also, what airport are you guys flying into? We go from Indy Friday to NY (JFK) to Dusseldorf and finally fly to Berlen (Tegel) (Saturday).

Urban, I don't know for sure but I think everyone starts out on the same tour. The people who signed up for just the Berlin - Prague go home after Prague, etc. So everyone starts out on tour but you lose people along the way.

Not 100% sure though.

I'm Amanda from Saint John, Canada (really really close to Maine). I'm excited about finally getting some vacation time! Oh, and of course about meeting all of you.

I'm going on the tour with my best friend from university. We graduated last year. Now, we live in 2 different cities and can't wait to have a vacation together!

So it looks like we are all on the same tour! Are any of you going on to Budapest or do you all finish in Vienna?
I am a solo traveler and its my first Contiki. Just finished my Masters in City Planning.

By the way, is anyone taking off somewhere after the tour? We've got 10 days to do whatever afterwards and besides Amsterdam and London at the end we have no idea where we're going or what we're doing.
