Hello all,

I totally just got done doing another Contiki trip a week and a half ago and I am already booking another!!! I hate when work forces you to take vacation.

Anyways, anyone going on this trip? It is always nice to start a friendly discussion beforehand isn't it?? I am going to have a pre-night in Berlin to get myself settled and the like.

Oh, BTW,

I just created a group in facebook for 2009 departure dates. It is called:

Berlin to Budapest 2009

I am finding from my last tour that people seem to love facebook as the only way to stay in touch. I am not sure if you are into fb, but it is another mode of communication anyways....

I'll be going on this one too, also because work will be forcing me to take another vacation. This will be my first Contiki trip.

Welcome! Where are you from? I am 25, M, From the US. Have you traveled much before? I have been to a random mess of countries including the UK, Peru, Ireland, Italy and Spain. I didn't do much by way of traveling for the last couple years and I am jumping right back into it!

I am hoping that this trip fills up. I don't know what September is like for vacation season. Anyways, I need to do some research on the places that we go beforehand to be a knowledgeable tourist. Take care, thanks for responding.

I'm 28, F, also from the US, and have done a little traveling (UK, Ireland, France, Russia) but not enough recently.

I like September for traveling, especially in Europe! It's warm but not oppressively hot, and things are slightly less crowded since there are fewer students and families with young children. I'm hoping the tour books up as well. This date is supposed to be popular, so I think it probably will.

We are safe about the tour now because it changed from 'preferred' to 'guaranteed'. I noticed that yesterday AFTER I booked my flight. Good karma is on our side now.

Wow, we are in the final countdown here!!! Is there anyone else out there for this trip?? I noticed that this forum post fell way down on the list to people who are still a long way away from their trips.

Onefish,

I'll see you in a very little bit. Guess no one knows about this forum. Hope your last full week is without a lot of stress!!
