Hey Everyone! I'm really excited about going on this trip. I'm planning on staying an extra 2 nights for New Year's and leaving on January 1st. I just wanted to get an idea of how many people are also extending their stay and where you'll be staying.

I've thought about extending my stay for New Year's but haven't fully decided yet. Are you?

So I just checked with my travel agent, and the 5th departure is full, so I will be taking this one! What do you think will be going on Christmas day? I will be going solo, 23 female from the states (but i live in the middle east right now).

I am thinking of booking this hotel for my extra two nights in Budapest: Corinthia Grand Hotel. It is close to Hotel Stadion, but more towards town center.

However, I might just end up staying at the hotel we will already be at. I saw that it is a three night minimum booking on the site... But maybe since we will have been there with Contiki they won't mind.

I think we are going to book an extra two nights at our current hotel just so that we don't have to haul our luggage around Budapest while we wait to check in. Only 2 more months!

I'll be joining in Vienna and I'll be there a few days early. I wish I could stay longer but I have NYE plans that I can't cancel.

Too bad that you will be missing out on New Year's in Budapest! But I guess we will see you in Vienna!

If I didn't already pay for the NYE party here in Boston, I would extend the trip. Oh well. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. I am 32 and traveling solo for this trip.

NYE in Boston, huh? Sounds like fun. I'm from Arkansas so there's definitely not much going on there for New Years. I'm 22 (will be turning 23 in Prague) and travelling solo as well.

As far as new years eve, I know at least 3 of us are staying in Budapest and leavong Jan. 1.
