Hi yeah, I'm doing the Berlin to Vienna section of the trip . . . leaving in Vienna cuz I wanted to spend NYE there . . .

I'm from Sydney . . . this will be my second Contiki tour in 4 months!!!

I'm on the Berlin to Vienna tour too...but heading to Budapest for NYE without contiki as I have some Hungarian party friends there, I've been in Budapest early this year, its an awesome city... night life and food are tops esp. with some knowledge from some locals if you want some tips I could forward some info on.

So what other contiki are you doing/have done Simmo?

I just got back from European Encounter in Sept. It was great fun . . . probably the time of my life in fact . . . to the point that as soon as I got back I told myself to book another tour!!

You guys thinking of getting into Berlin a few days beforehand? That city apparent is awesome!

Yep, getting in a few days before would be cool. I think 22nd is a tues, so I may get in on Sat?

I've done 3 contiki trips before through Australia and New Zealand in 2002, so its been a while, but they were so good!

Yeah I've already booked my air tix and touching down in Berlin on Friday night . . .

So probably get 3 days prior to the 22nd . . . was thinking of exploring some places that the actual Contiki tour won't be covering . . .

I spoke to Contiki and they said this tour's starting to get full. My last one had 51 people in it!

I'm looking into flights now, am thinking I'll be in Berlin on the 19th. Would be good to do some of the sights but am keen on checking out the clubs there.

Cool I just went to Berlin for the weekend and its awesome! Clubs are awesome ...but I did this club tour the ones they took us to weren't the best Berlin has to offer so I would only recommend one from the tour called Matrix but Solar bar is a good one. And way cheaper than Munich!

Hey, thanks for that, I've got a couple of mates in Berlin so hopefully they'll take me to the good places.

Are you planning on getting to Berlin a few days before the tour?

I've booked my flights now, getting there in the evening on the 19th.

I'm def not one to hit the bed before having plenty of drinks, glad they'll be others like me on the trip! In any case, we'll need it to keep warm in the freezing cold, never been on a winter holiday before!

I'm getting to Berlin a few days early to check out some of the sightseeing we won't be covering and some good clubs. When will you guys arrive?

Would love to get there a few days earlier, but no can do. Spending the day of the 22nd in Paris though (due to flights etc).

Will be packing alot of energy tablets for this one!!
