Hey, my sister and I are doing this tour together. We are excited to meet everyone. What time are people getting into Berlin?

I'm going at the same time except leaving after Vienna (wish I could go longer, not enough vacation days). I arrive around noon I think.

Hi! My husband and I arrive late in the day to Berlin so we might miss the first dinner. We did a Contiki last year and it was amazing...we are so excited to meet everyone!

Hi, I get in to Berlin a quarter before noon. This is my first trip to Europe (as well as my first trip with Contiki) and can't wait long enough to get there!

So, I just received my travel documents, and I'm super confused. We meet everyone at the Park Plaza Hotel in Berlin at 6pm, yet we check into a Best Western Hotel beforehand for our 3 nights?? Or, do we check in afterwards? Also, if you google the Best Western, the "City Ost" isn't the same address Contiki gives us.... ??

I haven't got my travel documents yet but from what I've read on the Contiki's website and Best Western's website we can check into the hotel starting at 2pm.

I looked on tripadviser and there were no reviews for "City Ost" so maybe it's a newer hotel and Contiki doesn't have the correct address yet?

So, does it seem like we check into one hotel (Best Western), and then go to the Park Plaza, another hotel, at 6pm? Let me know what you all think once you get your documents.

I found information about the Ost Hotel on the Best Western Website http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/propertyEBrochu...o?propertyCode=95380

It doesn't seem intuitive to meet at a different location than our hotel. The Park Plaza hotel is 1.7 km away from Ost. I wonder if thats a typo.

I'm also going on this tour from the 12th of April. I agree with you - I have checked my tour vouchers and there is a bit of confusion over whether we must meet at a different hotel to where we are staying.

Are any of you travelling from Tegel airport to the our hotel at around 2PM?

Ok, I just got off the phone with Contiki, and the lady said all tours meet in the lobby of the starting hotel. So, we'd meet at 6pm in the lobby of the Best Western City Ost according to her. She said a tour manager would be there to tell us of any change in plans. So, we'll see how that works. Now, one more issue: the address for City Ost in our documents is different than the website address.... ?

Got an update from Contiki:

"Please be advised that there has been a supplier change for Berlin to Budapest tour on the first night in Berlin. We have arranged a hotel of equal quality and believe that all passengers will find the new accommodations more than satisfactory. Since documents have already been sent with the original hotel, I have listed the updated hotel information below.

? for everyone: Has anyone been able to find the easiest way to get from Tegel to Best Western City Ost? I've heard about an express train to the city center, but the hotel doesn't seem to give good directions from the airport. Any ideas?
