Hey man,

My buddy and I will also be on that trip. We were going to get into Berlin early on the 9th, but decided to take a different flight that leaves us in Amsterdam for just over 8 hours. Though we will be coming into Berlin late at night. Have you found any good places to stay? Cheap hostels?

I'm also getting into Berlin on the 8th. Thinking about making a side trip to Potsdam. I'm also staying an extra night in Budapest, leaving on the 21st.

I'm staying at the Contiki hotel, not sure of the name. Figure its just easier that way. But if you're looking for a hostel in Berlin, try the Generator. Stayed there a couple years ago, was pretty good.

Hi! after some very disappointing stuff ups by contiki I find myself on this tour! Great to hear from others. We're (my buddy and I) flying in from Paris to Berlin on the 9th as we'll be in Europe for more than a week before the tour starts. Just let me know if you need anything as I love a good chat, it's guna be an awesome trip, can't wait to leave!

Awesome so hopefully mine will be on the way. Me? Overnight train to split (Croatia) spend some time with the family 4 days I think, then I booked accomm. on a sailing boat in croatia for 8 days island hopping. Then Rome for 2 days before home time.
