Greetings friends!

I'll be making another trip across the pond, courtesy of the friends from Contiki. I'm wondering if anyone has been on this trip in the past, and care to share their experience. What's the best sites to visit for each respective city?

Anybody making this trip, feel free to check in and drop a line to say hi! I look forward to the fun and excitment of meet new friends from all over the world!

Peace,
Lyle

Hey Lyle -

I'll probably be joining you on that tour.  I took the Euro Discovery tour this summer, had a blast and figured I'd go for a Round II.  The packet from Contiki a few weeks ago with the discount for returning travelers sealed the deal.  I may also look to extend this tour onto Budapest to check out that city for a few days.

Have you already booked?

Hey Derek!

I have already booked and I only owe less then $500.00 for the whole
trip then it will be paid off. I love getting things bought and paid
for early. I went on the Southern Ireland trip about 2 years ago, and I
had an absolute blast! It was the ultimate "Pub Crawl"! I took some
amazing photography as well. You can check it out at
WWW.LMcIMAGERY.COM. I met some great people from all over the world,
and a bunch of great people from Austrailia and New Zealand. My
room-mate was from Germany, and right now I'm learning a little German
to get myself prepared for the trip. It's always nice to at least
ATTEMPT to communicate with someone in their native language!

Hope to see ya one the trip!!

Peace,

Lyle

Lyle,
I am hanging out with you, if you can order beer in German!!!  I am late joining (had some timing stuff to work out), but will coming from Philly on the 9th.  Hoping this is a cool group.  I am wrapping up my Contiki time (being this is number 9 for me), and looking forward to a great trip.

See you in DE.

Cheers,
Lee

I got the UPS notice the other day that the trip packages were sent out... departure date is right around the corner.

I called a few weeks back - looks like this will be a full house.  Should be a good time.

hien (sp?) bier bitta!!

Translation: One Beer Please!!

I figure that phrase will be just about all we really need to know, but I'm still learning a few more phrases just to be on the safe side! We're less then a month away, and it can't come soon enough for me!

Here's to a great trip, great beer, and making great new friends all over the world!

Slainte!
Lyle
