My friend and I are thinking about taking this trip but we wanted to see how many people would sign up for it. Nothing like spending New Years in Europe huh?
I'm thinking of doing the Berlin-Budapest trip - I think it's the same route but just continues on to Budapest while the Berlin-Prague-Vienna tour ends in Vienna. Looks like we'd spend New Years in Prague!
I'm from the states(Louisiana to be exact) and this is going to be my second trip with contiki. I'm currently 26. How about you? where are you from? whats the other contiki trips you went on?
I'm also from the states(FL) and I'm 25. Now that I see more people are interested in the trip, its moving towards the top of my list, despite the cold! I have gone on the Turkish Delight trip and Egypt and the Nile and had a blast.

My wife and I are from NYC, we are also working on getting some of our friends to go with us. This will be our second trip with Contiki, we went on the London-Paris-Amsterdam tour in Spring of 2006.
I'm excited it sounds like quite a few people may be going! Is anyone thinking of staying on a few days at the end of the trip in Budapest? I'm thinking I might do an extra day or 2 in Budapest and then go on to Croatia or somewhere else in the region for a couple days.
kinda reconsidering now. it looks like our only free day in Prague will be New Years Day so i'm guessing most everything will be closed. and i'd really like to find out if the tour manager helps book something to do or someplace to go out on New Years Eve. everything i'm reading makes it sound like you need to book at a club or restaurant quite in advance.
so i'm thinking i may go in November instead, the week ebfore Thanksgiving...but i'll probably change my mind 6 more times
