Hey Melissa,

I'm flying outta Pearson on the 9th, but I'm just doing the Vienna (& Budapest) portion. I just moved to TO a few months ago. Do you know any goods bars to hit on a Saturday night?

Melissa, which one do you recommend? Preferably with no dress code though. My buddy and I hit the Drake one night, which was okay. Berlin and Prague are cool cities though btw..

yea the Drake is alright, better in the summer when you can sit on the rooftop patio all night.

No dress code in the city, tough one but there are a few. Velvet Underground is always good, no cover or dress code, Friday or Saturday always packed. Cantena Charlies, younger crowd cover, but no dress code - more of a night club than anything but fun once in a blue moon. Also The Madison up near U of T campus... always entertaining & jam packed. Theres so many more, but really again depends what music you're into.

And good to hear that Berlin & Prague are cool cities... never been to them before so am very much looking forward to the trip.

Hey!

I'm also going on the tour (2nd Contiki trip)...and also from Toronto - flying out of Pearson on the 8th doing Berlin, Prague, Vienna.

Bedford Academy on Prince Arthur is also a fun local bar.

Thanks for the tips! If I can ever find out where any of these bars are I'll have to check'em out.

This is my 3rd contiki. We should meet up before the trip and talk some travels....

Hey,

Meeting up beforehand is a good idea - nice to know a few people going in, and I'm definitely up for talking travels.

Sounds good. I'm off around 5 during the week and I work in Etobicoke, so any time after that works for me.

Hey,

I work in downtown Toronto and usually leave the office around 6. I'm good at any time after that.

Monday or Tuesday - 6,6:30 works for me. All I know is where the ACC and skydome are, but anywhere downtown is cool with me.

I just decided to go on this tour last minute. It's my first contiki trip so I am really excited, been to Europe before but never any of these cities. I am heading out from San Francisco, anyone else coming from the West coast? Look forward to meeting everyone-Sarah
