Well what can I say.. we are almost there!!! Are you all getting excited? Hmm I think I am, but to be honest... I am excited, nervous and scared ... all in one. I don't know if that makes sense.

I am so jealous that you all get to meet in London first. Please think of lil ol me that will only get to meet you all later.

Plus... I have always wanted to see the White Cliffs of Dover.

I can't wait for Amsterdam. I have heard so much about it!!!!

I am also doing the European inspiration trip on the 29th of June! My boyfriend and i are staying at the hotel in London the night before the trip.
I am so EXCITED and really keen to meet everyone.
I read all of your tips and am so thankful! I was having real packing dilemmas.
We are staying in London for 5 days after Contiki.

Yes... it's getting closer and closer. It's always good to stay a few days after the tour (If you can of course). I will be staying a few days extra in Paris.

Well actually this will be my 5th Contiki tour. I have been in Europe before. But I only went to Italy and Greece.

I have always wanted to see Holland, France, Germany and all of the rest of the wonderful places we are going to see.

For me, it is going to be an extremely emotional experience as this is the journey that I have always wanted to do.

And I am sure that it is the same for you guys!!!

What I enjoy the most about Contiki is that one gets to meet so many ppl from different countries. I love meeting ppl and making new friends.

The first day is always a blur because you meet so many new ppl and have to remember names. However, 2 or so days later everyone is good friends.

What are you planning to do in UK after the tour?

Yes... I am already counting down the weeks on my calendar. Yes.. the first meeting is always crazy. But at least we will all meet soon soon.

The nicest part... is that through Contiki... you get to meet so many different ppl from different countries.

I've been on tours where some people have met the first time on the tour and then found out that they actually live across the road from each other. Isn't that weird ???

Chelsea... are you going to Michael Jackson before or after the tour???

I just wanted to check on the whole sleeping bag thing. Since we are staying in hotels we don't need one do we?

Hiya

No no... we don't need sleeping bags at all. We will be staying in hotels throughout and they are normally really nice hotels.. so you shouldn't have a problem.

The only thing that I can warn you about is make sure you bring along comfortable shoes. There is a lot of running around and walking!!!

Also, there is often very little time to get dressed. Don't worry... you won't run around naked. What I mean by this is that often we will arrive at the hotel at say 6pm and then we will be expected to be downstairs and ready to go at 6:25pm. This may seem like a long time, but remember that you still have to get your keys and your luggage to your room!!!

Often, we just quickly put on a different top and pants, brush your hair... touch up make-up and then run out.

Otherwise... it is heaps of fun and so many sites and places to see.

I can't wait!!!
