I'm travelling by myself. And you??? I don't mind travelling by myself because you get to meet so many new ppl from different countries. It makes the whole experience fun.

I am actually from a very small coastal town in South Africa.

I must admit... I am getting very excited. I can't wait to see Paris and Amsterdam and Germany. I have also heard that Prague is really something.

I have been to Italy before. But it will be good to go back .... hehehe... and eat more gelato.

oh yeah cool i could not travel by myself well first time anyways i'd be to scared. i am coming with my partner but am so up for meeting so many people

small coastal town so am i love the beach and the ocean.

i am so excited also i can't wait to see everywhere but i have heard prague is awesome and i am way keen for Paris also are you travelling anywhere else after the contiki?

we are going to scotland for about 8 days then back to london for 8 days i just got tickets to michael jacksons concert while we are there also so keen.

i am looking forward to trying a gelato ....!!!

Sadly, I am only joining the tour in Amsterdam. I have had a few problems with my Visa. Anyway, then on the last day when the tour leaves for London, I am staying 2 more days in Paris. Maybe I will find romance in Paris. You never know

Louise - heya- oh that's great. Well we are the first ppl you can meet - if you want

I must say ... with all my Contiki experiences... the craziest is the first day because you meet all these ppl and then afterwards you feel like an idiot because you can't remember their names . But as the tour goes on... everyone kinda gels and has fun.

I think my fear is gonna be the bus. Because I will only get on in Amsterdam and I don't want to steal anyone's place or seat. I'm hoping their will be a spot for me

What to wear... Okay well it is going to be HOT. Especially in Italy. So... shorts, dresses, jeans and lil shirts. Then at night we do go out to dinner and clubs (only if you want) ..

To be honest... I normally take a pair of shorts, 2 pairs of smart pants, jeans (I live in jeans) and a casual dress and then lotsa short sleeved tops. Shoes- flip flops, very light flat shoes and a pair of high heels that go with anything. You don't often get time to change from day to evening... so I take things that can easily be converted to evening by adding accessories or high heels. Plus I don't like wearing shoes that are too high cos you land up walking a lot. And I'm clumsy.

When I was in Italy last year... I bought with all my nice shoes. But my feet swelled up cos of the heat. Was not good. Couldn't even see my ankles!!! They looked like little elephants. The worst was that none of my sexy shoes fit me. Was very sad

I always try to take only 16kgs. So that I can shop and buy more. I love shopping

Btw... bout finding a French man in France or romance.... Nah not for me sorry!!!

I have learnt from previous experiences that the minute you start getting involved abroad... there is always some tension ahead in the group.

Don't want that. Just want to meet ppl and make new friends. But then again... depends how HOT the Frenchman is

CHelsea - Where in Australia are you from?? & are you staying at the London Hotel we leave from the night before we leave on the contiki.

Silent Angel - When you say it will be HOT how hot? Also do you just generally take 3 days worth of clothes or so and then just wash out clothes?

Hehehe... I can't really talk about the other counties cos I haven't been to them yet. But Italy is HOT. It's the kind of heat that when you get out of the shower, you want to get back in the shower. I don't know if that makes sense.

Ummm... washing... ummm. To be honest I normally take a whole lot of underwear with. I normally do hand washing in my room. I take a few pairs of jeans with. I only wash them if they get really really dirty. The problem is often the hotels don't have laundry facilities. There are landromats but we are often so on the go that one gets very little time.

If my stuff is dirty... I normally get up real early, wash it and hang it up and then by the time we get back... its dry.

Plus I take a whole lot of tops ... so I don;t have to really wash them.

Oh dear.. I probably sound quite scruffy But I'm actually very neat and tidy.
