I know there was a thread going called "leaving in mid december" however I got a bit confused as to who was leaving London on December 18th.

I thought this new message might be able to help everyone who is going on the tour connect with each other.

Anyway a bit about me I am just about to turn 21 and am going alone

I’m going on the same tour you are and going by myself as well. Have you heard from any others going?

I haven’t been on a Contiki tour before but a lot of people I know have and they all say it’s awesome. How many have you been on?

I get into London the night before but after the tour I’ve got the next week to play around with. I was thinking of going to Ireland or Scotland. Most of my friends say Ireland and I’ve got a couple of friends from there so it seems that where I’m leaning at the moment.

Hi all!

I am so stoked about heading on this trip! I'm also from joburg in South Africa. coming alone and arriving on the 17th morning!staying at royal national too.... pre drinks for the trip will be so much fun. This will be my second contiki, did one in the beginning of the year, though i know it's bound to be completely different!!!!

Hi Guys,

I am Debs, I am also in this tour with you. I am travelling with 2 of my girl buddies.

This is my second contiki this year. I met the 2 girls I am travelling with on the first one. We had an absolute ball on the first one. There has been talk of catching up for a drink the night before the tour. THere is usually a meeting the night before the tour just to give you any info you may need. Then we would go to the London Pub for a few quite drinks after that. My friends, Kirsty and Kylie and I will be staying at the Royal Nat the 2 nights before, however they are there for the week before.

That was long winded. I am already in the UK, I am living and working in Coventry at the moment. I have been here for 6 or 7 weeks now... Not sure...

I am from Brisbane back home in Aus and K and K are from Adelaide.

Well I guess I will see you guys in a couple if months. Look out it will be the ride of a life time.

Hey my name is James. My friend and I are going on this tour too. We are from the US and are arriving in London on the 17th. I was just wondering if everyone has gotten there travel documents yet, because we haven't and I'm getting a little nervous haha. Anyways can't wait to get there and meet everyone!

yeah i got mine this week, you even get this neat lil contiki passport holder!

get in touch with your travel agent, thats what i had to do cause it turns out they didnt have my address on file so my contiki stuff was just sitting in the office til i contacted them.

Can any one tell me how cold it will get in some places we go and if it will snow?
