Bridie- my sister did this tour last year and she said there wasnt over the top bus time couple of hours each day as you have longer to spend in each location. she said you barely noticed being on the bus as you had so much free time/time out at the locations you were at!!!

We arrive in London on the 2nd of January, after travelling through England, Ireland and Scotland. At this stage we're planning on staying with friends/family.
It probably would be a good idea to stay at the Royal the night before though.. I haven't really looked into it - What's the price like.. And is that where the Contiki Basement is?
