Thats great to hear...I was beginning to wonder if anyone else was coming on this tour!!

We are very excited already too!! Me especially as this is my first trip OS!!

You got anything else planned other than this contiki trip?? We're going to the US for about a week prior to visit my friend's friend's. Then I'll be staying in London by myself for about 6 days after the tour.

So how old are you both?? I'm 25 and my friend is 23. We are both girls!!!

lol yeah I was a little concerned that no one else was going on this trip also, but im sure there will be plenty of others!

We're arriving in Europe about 2 weeks before the tour, staying at Mykonos for 1 week & London for the other, i'll be heading straight back to Aus after contiki but my friend will probably be heading to Barcelona by herself after, which i'd love to do but just cant take time off of work for!

We're both 22 & both girls.

That sounds great. You'll have to let me know what you thought of Mykanos when we meet up on Contiki. We were going to do go there after our tour but decided on US instead especially as we know people there (free accomodation!!). Barcelona sounds nice also!!

I'm pretty lucky I can get a decent amount of time off work...guess thats what happens when you've been in the same place for 5 years!! My friend can only get a limited amount as well (22 working days). I guess thats good though considering she's only been in her job for about 4 months!!

So where abouts is your friend from in Melbourne??

Sorry took so long to reply! Free accom is always great! We're hoping my friend will have friends in London when we're there so we can also get free accom, cos i've heard some pretty bad reviews on the cheap hostels in London, all the rest are $40+ a night! May as well stay at a hotel at that rate I reckon.

Not sure where my friend is in Melbourne now, she was in Watsonia or something, but has moved since I was there last. I told her about this forum but unfortunatly she cant get on here at work.

I noticed theres a girl from USA also going on this trip but she musn't have seen this topic.

Well I saw that on both but I thought I would just write anyway... it doesn't hurt!!! I'm traveling by myself at this stage, go to Peterborough for a bit over a week before to stay with family. Staying in London night before at Royal National. Then after stay at Royal Nat again n have a day or two then on w/e fly to Waterford in Ireland to spend time with a good friend.

Sorry its been so long....i was having log on issues!!

We're flying over with Star Alliance - which is a few different airlines. Flying from Melb to US and US to London on United Airlines and then flying home on Singapore Airlines.

Your trip sounds good. I wanted to go to Ireland but my friend wasn't too keen and in the end we didn't have enough time anyway. Maybe next time, as I think Ireland would be beautiful.

How exciting....i just realised that today is the 6th June which means that is exactly 3 months to the day that my friend and I fly out from Melb. We leave the 6th Sept. So therefore its just a bit over 3 months till our tour starts. Getting very excited now!!!

Just remember your only as old as the man your feeling...so in your case 25 ....LOL!!!

We are in Strathmore/Moonee Ponds.
We are actually going over to visit my sister who is living in London. We are going to spend a week with her before the tour starts and maybe do a quick trip to Ireland for a few days.

Its been a while...but I figure the less chatting over the net the more we can do in person when we finally meet!!

Also just changed jobs so have been pretty busy!

It still feels like ages before we go! Its about 8 weeks before I actually finish work but thats about 9ish weeks before tour starts! So that woulb be about 8 weeks before you go too if your visiting your sister first!
