I'm from Auckland, New Zealand and am looking at going on this tour next year too, probably the one at the end of May or the first one in June.

It looks like a great tour, and I like how you get to spend a whole day in each city, since it sounds like there will be a lot of time spent on the bus!

Would be great to meet some people on here before the tour.

There is 6/7 nights in Italy as well which is good, get to see a few different cities and past through a lot of different countries.

Guess we just have to wait and sit back for the dates to be release

I'm Bec from Nwecastle - I've booked in the tour for 26th May - I was going to do the 8th June one but that's my birthday and didn't want to start a Contiki on my birthday when I knew nobody. This way I'll spend my birthday in Florence and Swiss Alps :-)

I will be going on the 30th of June for this tour. Only b'coz it one of the confirmated dates plus couldn't get the time off work for any other dates.

Have you booked for the 9th? I just paid for my flights today and put a deposit down for the tour! The flight is sooo long. I have to wait six hours in Singapore! At least I get a whole day in London the day before the tour. It feels strange organising all this when it's so far away....

Hi Bec,

I went to Flight Centre today and pencil-booked my flights for June. Yay, so exciting! My agent's going to book me on the June 2nd tour, as it fits in better with my trip.

I'm going through Singapore too, but am staying for a couple of days. Apparently the airport there is great, and there's lots to do. I've got friends who've been, and one even got a manicure on her stopover! So you won't be bored in your 6 hours.

It does feel strange planning this far in advance. But it does mean more time to save, so that's a bonus. Plus we'll know for sure we're in the tours we want.
