Hey,

I just noticed that Contiki have posted 2 itineraries for the tour - one for Summer & one for Winter. The summer one mentions dropping by San Gimignano but not Pisa. The winter one mentions dropping by Pisa....twice but no mention of San Gimignano. I reckon the Pisa twice bit has to be an error. I'm doing the Summer tour.....do we not get to stop off at Pisa? I know it's just a hit & run stop...but is that not on at all???? I'm happy about San Gimignano though - it looks nice.

I wondered that too, the one I've booked in for is in April/May so will be counted as Summer. I'd love to go to Pisa and according to the 'what's included' list http://www.contiki.com/en-NZ/Tours/Europe/European.Insp...n/Whats.Included.htm it looks like we go there and San Gimignano. Fingers crossed! Which tour are you going on? Smiler

hey
i just finished the winter tour 25th dec-jan 12 and our tour went to pisa and San Gimignano. personally i thought San Gimignano was the best and you should spend atleast half a day there not 2hours like our group did. And Pisa we were there for an hour. San Gimignano gives you a real feel for 'real' italy.
