Hi

I am most probably doing this tour. I'm 24 and will be travelling alone (tiny bit nervous! I'm sure it will be great fun tho).

Where abouts are you and your friends from Kez?

I think I'll be in London approx. 26 April. Which leaves me about 5 days to explore London before the Contiki tour.

Do you know when you will be arriving? Are you travelling elsewhere before/after Contiki?

Hope you had fun at the Travel Show...was it helpful?

Hey Jen,

I'm just back from the show- it was amazing~! I'm not sure where u are travelling from but i got $600 off my flight, 10% off both my tour and insurance!! I arrive early on the 27th and fly out early on June 1st. So i have about 10 days of extra travel after my tour- I'll just see what happens to where I go (was thinking prehaps Ireland for a few days).

What about u?

Wow, they are some great savings!! I was thinking of going to the travel show next weekend (I'm from Adelaide)...but now I think I'll definitely have to check it out!

I'm travelling with a couple of friends beforehand (to Egypt and Turkey), then catching up with friends in London, and then off on the Contiki by myself.

Ireland would be awesome... and Scotland is supposed to be fantastic also Smiler

Yep, it is definately worth a try! I wanted to be in Turkey for ANZAC day but thats not going to happen unfortuately.

I travelled alone on my last contiki tour of NZ and i had a ball and made some amazing friends. I'm actually going to Sydney next week to catch up with a friend who i met on my NZ tour!!!

My countdown has began!!

That's great you made some really good friends; a few of my friends have done tours in the past and are still friends with lots of the people even now...I think it's awesome.

Yeh we will be in Turkey on the 25th...I've wanted to go there for many years now, so I'm finally getting the chance.

All I can think about lately is travelling...I just want to go right now! I'm sure April will be here before I know it though (I can't believe it's nearly Christmas! aaaargh where did the year go?!).

Btw, what is your name? otherwise I will have to refer to you as 'Explorer1115019' :P

Hi Caroline

'Topdeck Travel' do tours for ANZAC Day (just for future reference if you plan on going some day)...they are similar to Contiki with ages I think, and definitely a safer option for lone travellers.

Cool. At the moment I am just doing temp. office work for the next four months until I go on holiday. I love footy as well, and cricket. Love the beach and can't wait for summer!

Talk to ya later Smiler

I go for the Crows; my mum is a mad Port supporter tho, so there is a bit of rivalry in the family come 'Showdown' time haha.
