Looks like its just you and me so far!  Hey, thats ok though because we're going anyway!  I know I'm a little too excited already becuase I keep mentally packing my suitcase and we dont leave for what seems like forever.  I've never traveled out of the states before (except to the Bahamas on different cruises) and I keep coming up with all these irrational fears... like how I'm going to wash my clothes and how Im going to charge my mp3 player on different plugs... things like that.  I cant wait to meet everyone that will be traveling with us. 

Oh, some me information... I'm 21 (I'm turning 22 the day after the tour is over) and I just graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Hospitality Management degree.  I am the assistant front office manager at the Embassy Suites where I live.  Its not at exciting as it sounds... but we have seen some interesting things.

Hi Anna!

I know what you mean, I have been stressing about getting 21 days of my life into one suitcase that weighs 44lbs... I pack more then that going to mexico for one week...anyways i am sure i will manage...I'll will just have to limit how many pairs of shoes i will be bring (hehehe I like my shoes!!) and i am sure that we will be very good at washing our clothes in hotel sinks by the end of the trip!

anyways... a little about me.......I am 23 years old. I work full time as a pharmacy technician..I have been working in pharmacy for, well it will be 4 years in may... it is a fun job but has it's ups and down. My friend that is travelling on the trip with me is 23 as well and works in pharmacy also...

Well, I can't wait to go on this trip and meet everyone, we are going to have such a great time.. I have heard nothing but great things about Contiki and trips that they offer..  It is going to be great. Can't wait!!!!!

Hey I just wanted to say that the website now says the May 4 departure is guarenteed!
I'm Lisa by the way. I'm finishing my Masters at Washington State University like the week before the trip. I also can't believe how little we are allowed to pack for a month, they say that there will be washers and dryers though, cause otherwise we might all smell really good by the time we get back home. Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

For the past few years I have done the nice n' relaxing golf vacation in Mt. Tremblant, which is about 1hr north of Montreal.  However, now it it time for an action-packed super tour of Europe. Looking forward to seeing the sites and meeting my travel mates!!!

I'm getting into London the morning of May 4th and staying at the Imperial.  I'm gonna take a day to see (probably not enough time to tour) the big sites.  I'll be jet lagged but ready to hit the town!!!

So my friend and I (we are from vancouver island,bc, canada) we leave Vancouver  may 4th in the afternoon and arrive the morning of may 5th in london and i believe we are staying at the imperial hotel as well.... hopefully we don't get lost and can find our way there.

Can't wait to meet everyone.. it is coming up fast!!!

I talked to my travel agent and according to her, we will have a ride provided by Contiki to Victoria Station from the airport (Im flying into Gatwick) and then from Victoria Station we were on our own to get to the Imperial.  She said take a taxi.  I think I'm arriving sometime awful (well not really, I cant complain about finally starting our trip) like 7 or 9 am.  I wouldnt think we'd be able to check into our rooms then, but the agent also said that the contiki basement will hold our luggage till we can put it in our rooms.  Now you know what I know.    YAY for the big trip!!!

I am heading into Heathrow; got great deal on a BA flight.  Also with Heathrow there is a Tube stop there that will take me to the hotel.  What is this Contiki basement?  I am getting in about 8am, so I will probably need to stash my lugguage somewhere as well.
