I'm a 21 year old female from the UK, planning on doing the European Inspiration Tour that starts on 13th July 2009.

I'm travelling alone (eeek) so was wondering if anyone else is planning the same!?

I'm doing the trip just two days before that, on July 11. It's a preferred departure date, not sure if July 13 is.

I'm also heading out by myself. 30 (will be) year old male from the USA.

Don't worry about heading out solo- I'm sure you'll find other people on your trip here as it gets closer. Or if you move your date up to the 11th, you'll already know one.

I've traveled a bit and have researched a lot from other Contiki travelers. If you have any questions, let me know. If not, good luck on your trip.

Oh that's a bit odd, in my brochure it says that the 13th is a preferred departure date but not the 11th. It might be a misprint though, i'll look into it.

I'm getting really excited now! It's good to know that others are going it alone!

Something interesting: I was checking up on my trip's itinerary here on the website, and when I got to the online calendar, it didn't show any July 13 departure date at all.

Just letting you know. You might want to contact Contiki and find out about the dates.
