wow Ohio I have never been there well I have never been to America but thats my next destination in a few years. So just reading your other emails you said you have just finished school what did you study? I'm currently doing a Traineeship. I have been England a few times as well my mother is British so all I have seen is her home town. so when do you leave for Europe I leave on the 14th of April 2 weeks before we go on the tour.

My name is Raffaella (22 years old), from Montreal Canada, and I'll be going on this trip with my boyfriend. We'll be leaving for London April 30th. This is our first Europe trip and I'm counting down the days. Cant wait!!!

So for the people going on this trip...what are you going on it for? To drink/party, to sightsee, both? I know i'm personally much more intrested in seeing as much of each place as possible, while still being able to go out, as opposed to getting blacked out drunk every night. So part of me worries i'll be the only one.
Also, I know in certain cities, mainly Munich and Berlin, there's things I want to do that aren't what Contiki has planned on doing that day. Anyone else plan on going off and on their own/without contiki in at least some places? I'm going to try and do as much with the group and hang out with people in the group as I can, but theres certain things I don't want to pass on doing while im over there.
Lastly, the optionals. I've heard many of them are a waste of time/money. What are peoples views on them that are going on here.

Well I'm mostly here for the sight seeing I do enjoy going out on the town but not getting blind drunk, I'm not sure about the extras I have been scraping just to get spending money so I don't know whether I will be going on many see how I go. I will be staying with the group think most of the time again see how I go.
