The count down is now on!! 6 weeks to go!! I'm just glad it was cancelled. Is everyone staying at the Royal National before the tour leaves?

I was meant to be staying in the Royal National before it leaves... but swapped to the Imperial (it is just across the road i have been told)... Very excited!

Is anyone doing a bit of London site seeing before hand?

So...do you all leave London on the 16th or the 18th? The dates kinda get screwed up depending on where you live. I'm booked on the tour leaving London on the 16th and just wondering if I have the right one.

30 days left! Thats going to fly by. I'm starting to get the last minute jitters now. Just hoping I bring enough spending money.
And Jefferson..I think if you booked the May 16th trip, then it leaves on the 16th (London time). It wouldnt really matter on where you live.
I'm staying the at Royal National too. Is everyone going to the pre-tour meet up the night before?

Thanks Dinky Di! If you're from North America it shows up as the May 14th trip. They count the day you leave as the 1st day, so I leave home the 14th, get to London the 15th, and the bus leaves London on the morning of the 16th. So if you guys are leaving London on the 16th, then yeah we're on the same tour.

Anyway, I'm from around Calgary, Canada and will be traveling solo too. It'll be my 2nd Contiki so if anyone as any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Hey all. Just something to keep in mind if any one is interested. We have a free day in Munich, so I was thinking of trying to head out on a day tour to the Dachau concentration camp. Ive been researaching several companies, and the price goes down the more people on te tour. Around $28 US to start. Something to think about. Im loking forward to meeting everyone face to face in London. Take care
