WOW! Between -40 and +40 is INSANE! I didnt realise anywhere in USA/Canada varied that much!

I enjoy 35-40C+ heat.
Anything under 15C is wayyy too cold for me... I really just cant stand the cold though. I wore jumpers all through our last summer and had a heater on at work and home most mornings and nights. It was a cold Summer though, Aussies will vouch for that except for when Adelaide got blasted with that heat wave! I was jealous :P

Wollongong - about an hour south of Syndey. 'The Gong' is on the coast so we have some pretty nice beaches! Great in summer!

I guess it would depend on your tour, but I read somewhere on the website it is mainly Aussies, Kiwis, Canadians with a few Americans and South Africans. Its pretty heavily marketed in Oz and NZ. Plus because we have such a bad exchange rate the budget tours are are sweet deal for us Smiler

I am from California (USA) but currently living in Germany.

Both of my Contiki tours had a pretty good mix of Americans, Canadians and Aussies - it just depends on the tour.
