i really want to travel through europe but i kind of dont want to go by myself. is there any one here from VA that wants to on a trip together, i mean so we're not by ourselves
I think most people on contiki tours travel by theirselves. you'll meet lots of people over there so you don't need to worry about 'being by yourself.'
you will be fine im travelling alone to europe june next year doing contiki tour, everyone seems to think its so much better alone but yeah i don really mind either way

i went to the usa on my own and i was fine. You meet so many people anyway. Besides if you wait for someone to go with you, you may never end up going...
When you go on a Contiki Holiday you will meet so many people. Everyone connects really quicky. Don't worry about travelling on your own. You will make so many friendships. Have fun
I did a tour with my best friend and I spent half the time with her and the other half with the friends I made on tour. So, this time I'm going solo! I'm a bit nervous but since I met so many cool people last time I have a feeling I'll make some new friends
I have done 5 tours with Contiki since 2003 on my own you get to meet so many diffferent people from different countries and age groups I think going on your own is best way of doing a tour Mike from NZ
Hi, I am looking at going to Europe at the end of this year or early 2010 alone on a timeout tour, not sure which one yet. I'm a bit worried about going alone. When you have free time do the people on the tour normally stick together or does everyone go their separate ways? also are you roomed with the same person for the whole time? Sorry about all the questions. Any advice would be great!
Hi Jade, i have just finished my Contiki tour on the 13th of Feb, and travelled alone, and would definately recommend it to everyone. It was the best way to meet new people, and make a great group of friends. We stayed with the same roomie for the whole tour, but made smaller groups, and did the sightseeing together just as Cdm115 states. It was amazing, best thing i have ever done, and once i get back to NZ, going to look at planning another one, maybe in America somewhere :P Good luck with booking
