I'm going solo as well. I got tired of waiting around for friends to decide if they wanted to go with me, and so...no time like the present. I can't wait!

Hey everyone!!
I just finished a euro vista tour that i went on solo and i had an awesome time!! Im 19 and was one of the youngest with most of the people on the tour around 21-22. But there is really nothing to worry about!! Im sure most of you will be doing twin share so you will meet someone else travelling solo as well that will become a good friend!
Travelling solo also allows you to mix with different people on the trip and hang out with who you want to and when!! everyone on my tour was really friendly and we all had an absolute blast together!! Everyone is on the tour to have a good time!! so just approach it with that attitude and hopefully you will all have the best time of your life!!
Any questions ill be happy to try and help my email is clarity35@hotmail.com!
So all the best guys!! xox Sinead

hi all,
im planning on doing a contiki tour this year most likely on my own hopefully in july/august. planning on doing the london-athens tour. is anyone else doing that tour? im 28 so probably quite alot older than most people going on contiki, but im sure its going to be a great experience for me because i havent done alot of international travel. be good to meet new people and party and have good times and build up some confidence. hope to hear from someone who has similar plans or anyone can give me some general advice. ill be a little nervous, but its all about good times!!

I'm looking at Greece in May - either the Island Hopping (May 12-25) or the Mykonos & Greek Island Cruising (May 13-21) followed by the Spotlight on Greece (May 20-24).

Hey Paul, I am in a similar situation. I have booked my contiki so there is no turning back now but every now and then I have my doubts as I have a really good job that pays pretty well so I sometimes wonder if I should be giving it up but at the end of the day I have been wanting to travel for several years now so I know I have to go and do it. There are plenty of jobs out there, if you have the experience Im sure you will find something easy enough when you get back. Im sure you wont regret travelling anyway. Let me know if you do decide to travel. I am going over in June and plan on travelling further after the tour, maybe work in London or Scotland for a year or 2.
