Hey everyone,

I'm planning on going on the 25 day european trip starting in athens and finishing in london on the 16th june this year! Problem is (if you can call it that) is that my birthday is on the 17th, just wondering if there's anything special that goes on with somebody's birthday as i'll be hitting the big 20 and a bit unsure about going when I could spend my birthday with my mates at home. Just want to mske sure i'll have a laugh

On my tour a girl had her birthday the first night, when we arrived into Paris.

She had a moustache drawn on her, and was made to eat the first snails in front of the group.

Later that night at the bar the bar staff basically poured alcohol down her throat.

And everyone elses actually!

ooh, im turning 26 on tour, might want to avoid the snails but the alcohol sounds good

I had my 25th bday on my recent tour.
(We actually had 5 bdays on the tour).

The group sang happy birthday to each of us at dinner on the night, and then the one night we were made to stand up in front of the whole restauarant and everyone sang to us

And there was of course alchol involved for the birthday girl/boy

I'll be goin on a tour in Europe in September this year and turning the big 20. so i sure hope it will be one to remember

i'm going to be having my 20th birthday on the tour next year! im excited... but also a bit sorry that im missing my best friend's birthday who is a few days before mine and also that i dont get to celebrate it with my mates... and if all goes to plan i'll still be in england on my 21st as well haha but wat can u do... its a chance of a lifetime.

though after reading the fun that goes on on peoples bdays i think it will be good fun

My birthday was the last day of a tour (breakfast then fly home, we were already in the last city). Everyone sang happy birthday the last night and a couple people bought me drinks.

I was on a 17 day tour and we had 8 birthdays while on tour! I think every gruop celbrates differently but on ours we sang the person happy brithday and the celebrating at night depends on what city you are in for your birthday. Also everyone got the birthday person a gift. Whether it was something from the town to tylenol for the morning to cure the hangover to flowers they picked. The birthday person ended up with an array of fun presents!

I will be on a Contiki Asia Tour but have my birthday before I get to Vietnam.can they do a belated celebration to aloow for others having birthdays on board too

I had my 25th on the Reefs and Rainforests tour I went on.

For me the madness started at Surf Camp right at midnight through Byron Bay and when we got to Surfers needless to say we went to Dracula's and the whole cast sang Happy Birthday to me!! Then round 2 of the drinking began.

We had about 5 on our tour as well.

had my birthday on the last night of the tour in Amsterdam- was awesome! Our tour group generally threw parties that coincided with birthdays.

I had my 22nd birthday when we were travelling from Memphis to New Orleans.On the bus in the morning i got on and i got sung to, Then after we had a bathroom and lunch stop i got back to my seat and the TM had decorated my seat, i got a party hat, a cupcake and a shot glass, and more singing, and that night we we went out to dinner and i got sung to in front of the whole restaraunt and got free ice cream sundae. So there was alot of singing that day. LOL. Def a birthday to remember.
