I know everyone has been doing a fair few threads trying to find ppl on their tour so I thought I might do the same! I couldnt find too many about the Aug 14 - Sep 19... but anyway bit about myself.

My name is Kayla and I am 20yr old from Brisbane, plan is to come to europe and then follow on this tour after a few days rest to oktoberfest. I would love to meet/talk to anyone who is looking to go around this time!! As I am travelling by myself.

Hey, I'm Mandi. I'm going to be going on this tour too with my friend Chantelle and maybe another friends of ours Katie.
We're all 21, from sydney. We'll be leaving here mid july and going around europe for a bit(not too sure how or where yet) before we do the tour. The plan after that is to finish off in ibiza if we have enough money left over..

As you said, only 28 weeks left... better get our butt moving and start saving more $$$..

im 21 as well, coming from brisbane, probably heading over first week of august (booking flights this week!) to do a bit of the UK travelling before the tour (ie. stone henge etc.) going by myself! eek! haha

am probably heading out to romania and scottland after the tour as well!!

oh mi god i'm so excited having found this discussion and seeing that there's so many other people in the same situation- i'm 20 from Sydney and travelling on my own for the first time to Europe... hoping to do some uk/london travelling pre-contiki tour then live and work for a little while afterwards in the uk, anyone else got similar plans or suggestions?
very nervous but so excited. hope to hear from you guys and can't wait to start the partying... here's to August 14th!!

Hey all! Both Niesh (my other half) is 22 and i'm 25. We're both syked bout this trip. we're doing america first and then heading over to europe for this tour. we plan to head over to the oktoberfest in munich on 24 Sept as it starts on 20sept, for 4 days. If you are interested you should book accomodation now as its going fast! Both niesh and I are saving frantically as this is our first "world trip" and are not sure how much we'll spend etc. I just have one tip for ya all... pack a couple ziplock bags! I've been told that when we're in the alps our socks get real wet, so we are to wear a pair of socks, put the bags on, and wear another pair over and then our shoes as the snow seeps into our shoes but we have dry feet! Oh and if you havn't already, it would be a good idea to start taking multivitamins so that you don't get sick on holidays!! if anyone would like to chat further please email me on ursh_22@hotmail.com!!

so pumped, we're getting more and more people joining the August 14th post! can't wait to meet all you guys. brad i must say, round the world trip solo, you gotta be one brave chicken!
i'm staying in the royal national the night before our tour but for the few days in between 4th-14th August i got no idea- no plans for accommodation or touring as yet- anyone got any suggestions on what they're doing? still sussing out a short contiki round uk/wales etc. or sight seeing round london for the week which everyone is telling me will strip me of all travel moolah just being there- AGH! so if anyone's got any suggestions i'm open- keep posting!! it's great hearing bout everyone's plans. can't wait to meet everyone, hope to hear from you soon. I'm staying at the Royal National for a night or 2 before the tour as well! Looks like there's a few good hostels around the Russel Square area too if anyone else is doing the hostel rounds. Havn't looked at much yet though. Hoping 2 weeks in London first won't suck up all my money! haha

Hey guys! So cool that so many aussies are coming on the tour already! I'm 20yrs old from Perth and will be arriving in London the week before the tour to visit relies etc. After the tour i'm keen to do some travelling too!
I will be travelling on my own as well so looks like most of us are in the same boat.
Will be staying in Kent in South east England for the week before then staying in the royal national the night before the tour starts.
Only a few more weeks to go guys!!!! So exciting!

hey everyone, there are certainly a lot of aussies on this message board, im sure there are a few kiwis that will be on the tour though. anyway im 24 from auckland will be in london on the 10th august then in london for 3 weeks afterwards just doing random trips and also heading to oktoberfest aswell like a few of you are doing. heading back through thailand and goldcoast for indy. reading your messages just pumped me up more for this trip. looking forward to hitting some paris clubs.... anyway if you want to catch up on mns ryanoldham@hotmail.com and facebook.
