Hi Michelle and Friend,

i have just booked this tour also every excited and a little nervous as iam travelling for the first time through europe by myslef but iam sure well will all be fine. i have been told by friends that the weather midd may through to june it quite nice  and down the south of france through italy and greece it should reach up to 30-35c degrees which would be fantastic for traveling not to hot nor cold. one of may concerns is how much to take in spending money per day do you have any idea

Let me know what you decide

Nat

Hey Michelle and Nat,

I will be booking this trip next week. I am really excited as well. A friend did this trip a couple years ago and said it was an amazing time. I also heard it gets to around 30c which will be nice for the beach.

No idea about money, sorry. Anyone going early and checking out London a bit?

Hey Nat,

The tour leaves from London on the 16th. My brochure says the 14th too, but I think the first couple days are for getting to London. I plan on getting there a couple days early at least for London and maybe even earlier to see Dublin or Edinburgh if I can swing it. I hope to stay at the Royal National as well.

Turns out the World Cup will be going on around the time the tour gets to Germany, so the whole country will be a party. Should be quite the event. Talk to you later.

Hey Nat,

Yeah, I can't wait. I still think it is pretty far away, but at least everyone I know is jealous.

Turns out I will be in Scotland as well. I am landing in Edinburgh on the 5th. Then I will be a doing a mini-tour of the highlands. Check out a distillery or two hopefully. Afterwords, maybe a night or two back in Edinburgh, then off to London for 2 or 3 days until the tour starts. I am really excited about London and Edinburgh. Edinburgh comes highly recommended.

If you want to meet up to cruise around London that would be great.

Yeah, my travel agent called me yesterday and told me they cancelled the 17th trip, because it wasn't a guaranteed departure. I don't mind too bad though, it just means I am leaving ealier now! I actually figured out that it is 73 days, give or take, which I now sounds silly but I'vew been wanting to do this for years!

Hi Guys,

We are 2 mates travelling together from New Zealand and are all booked and ready to join you all for May 16th. We are leaving NZ on May 4th and stopping in Singapore on the way over and then a week or so in London. We are staying at the Royal National Hotel the night before departure and would be keen to catch up with anyone whos around before we leave.

Are you guys planning to do all the optional extras? they are posted on the website, a friend of ours advise us that its a good idea to do all the activities. Can anyone tell us how much we should be allowing for spending money (have none anyway Smiler )

Look forward to hearing from you all and meeting you in May.

Ciao

Letitia & Mel
