Im from the Gold Coast, currently working in North QLD.

I dont think theres anything to be scared of -travelling alone -its going to be an absolute blast of a time.

Either of you doing any trips after Contiki?

I want to do the greece/egypt/israel cruise but we'll see depending on $ etc. So your from Australia? That's cool. I'm from Toronto Canada. I know it's not a scary thing to go on vacation alone but it's just because it's my first time but I'm sure after the first day I'll be fine

Oh that cruise sounds pretty awesome. Im travelling around for approx. 5 weeks post Contiki which im pretty excited about.

Yes from Aussie land - probably a bit hotter than Canada at the moment. Much snow around still or getting near the end of the season?

I think the first day will be a little daunting - but i say we should just go all out and make heaps of friends from the start - that way we wont be bored hahaha.

That's amazing that your going to be traveling for 5 weeks after!!! I wish i could do something like that but there's no way I could get all that time off work, maybe in the future. Toronto is just getting a tiny bit milder now, two days ago it was -30 with the wind, SOOOO COLD lol. Can't wait to leave. I agree that we should all just go all out and have a blast from the start

From what im hearing its still pretty cold in Europe right now - better bring the stripey thermals haha.

Nope Jord, there's no one else on this trip, it's just me and you buddy lol, no i do hope that there are much more people, I'm sure that there it is

I hope it's not that cold in europe when we go because I want to wear my dresses!!

I will miss my friends and family etc (no pets), they all really don't want me to go and are trying to convince me that I have to call them all (all the time) yeah right lol...that would cost me a fortune lol.

I got my package and I'm flying with air canada on the 7th at 840pm arriving london april the 8th at 8ish in the morning. Are you also on this flight?

Thats Awesome I am also on that flight! I usually cant sleep on planes, hopefully that wont be the case this time as I dont want to be tired when we get there!

I,ve never been on a plane for 7 or 8hrs before lol the trips I've been on have been shorter and I would get annoyed already with that lol so hopefully I can also fall asleep on the plane ride.

That's great that your on the same flight, air canada right? I didn't know that we didn't have a transfer to the hotel from the airport, till I got my package the other day. If were both going to be on the same flight we should head over to the hotel together?

Might as well I guess if were going the same way/secretly I'm terrified of getting lost on my way there alone lol

30 hours? Wow! I think mine is only 10 (from the U.S.). I still haven't gotten my packet yet either. Hopefully, I'll get it soon. I can't wait for the trip! It's getting closer!
