My name is Drew i have packed or sold all my stuff and headin on what i hope is a trip of a life time i am however sh**ing myself as i have never been out of Australia and also travelling onmy own, its going to be a lot different to my old life of working as a teacher and on the farm on the weekends. I am going on another contiki to america first and then to Europe i arrive and staying at the contiki hotel from the 30 of March.

I understand how you feel... I traveled the USA in 2005 with Contiki and had an amazing time. I did it solo, you have nothing to worry about. On both my tours at least half the group were Australians and what wasn't AUssie you became great friends with. What tours are you doing?

I did Big Apple Explorer and WIld Western, lots and lots of great highlights. Have an amazing time and start getting excited about all the new mates you'll make...

I am doing the Western Highlights in America, however arriving a couple of days early to go on a fishing charter for two days. As i said before this is a far cry from my normal life so it should be a blast. Where do you live in Melbourne, all my family live there and i went to boarding school at St Kevins
