My 2 friends and I will be on the May 23rd trip with you. Jodie (24yrs), Gae (22yrs) and I (22yrs) are from South Australia. We're flying in the morning before and staying at Contiki HQ so we don't sleep in and miss the start of the tour.

I think we're doing the same thing... we flying into London on the 23rd I'm not sure where we're staying yet, but at least we'll have some time to check out London. Where are you girls from in Austrailia? Get ready for mad fun!!

We're leaving Australia on the 23rd, arriving in London on the 24th and we're on the May 25th trip. We have all day on the 24th to check out London because our flight's due in at 6am. Gae, Jodie & I are all from South Australia. We're all originally from Adelaide, but Jodie and I are now living in Pt. Pirie (2Hrs from Adelaide). Less than 2 months away, can't wait!

You took the smart way by flying overnight. The airfare was like twice as much for us to fly overnight so we get there the night of the 23rd instead.. . I guess more time for London! Have you girls been to Europe before? This will be my first time! Nor have I been to Australia before... haha.. another place to go on my list Are you all students? The countdown begins!

I'm graduating finally with my Master's degree so this is like my last hoorah before entering the "real world".. haha. Where are you girls staying before the tour starts on the 25th? Hey! Yeah I totally agree with you, the trip will be fun, haven't heard any bad reports about any contiki trips my friends have been on so we should be guaranteed a good time! I spent about four months living and working in London the end of last year and early this year, but being winter didn't do enough travelling so have decided to go back and see more! Heidi has never been to Europe so she is very keen! She will be doing the Greek Island Hopping tour after our trip finishes, and I will be doing more of Europe afterwards. Do you plan on hanging around for more travelling after our contiki? Congrats on getting your masters, what did you study? We are staying in a hotel in Picadilly Circus (which is central london) due to the fact that I know my way around the city and understand the tube, which is slightly overwhelming if you haven't been to London before! The weather seems to be warming up there, bring on summer!! (It's a bit chilly in Melbourne at the moment!!)

Hey Erin, whats up? I haven't heard anything bad either, but none of my friends have gone on Contiki trips from here. From what I've read online and on facebook, it sounds waaay awesome.

Wow, living in London sounds exciting! I'm so jealous! That sounds like it'd be a blast! So you totally know your way around London.. haha. I think I'm just gonna end up staying at the same hotel that Contiki is at so I don't get lost.. lol. Where all did you go to on your own?

So I finally finished my M.S. in Electrical Engineering... yay! It's really weird to be done with school.. haha! But I have to head back unfortunately after the trip :-\ I live in Colorado right now, but my job is in Maryland so I'll be moving soon after I get back. I'll definitely head back there sometime soon again though. I also wanna visit Australia sometime soon. Have you girls ever been the the US? 

Yeaah.. its totally fall/winter over there! It's getting nice and warm here Hopefully the weather is nice everywhere we go on the trip! I want to go diving off the coast of italy/spain if we can... know any good dive spots by any chance? Alright.. this is getting long.. haha. If you're on AIM or MSN, we should chat See ya soon...

Hey Sammit, not sure if it's the same for you but the days are just flying, cant believe its now nearly a week til Heidi and I leave Melbourne! we're stressing over what to pack! Hoping the weather will be warm cause we really don't want to have to pack bulky, warm clothes, but been keeping an eye on the weather in London and Europe and is warming up so we should be ok. 

Yeah living in London was pretty fun, it's an awesome city, but too cold and grey for my liking! ( I was there for all of autumn and winter) So for that reason I didn't do a great deal of travelling, and so the reason for going back over again! I went to Spain, Scotland and a fair bit of England. I worked for a nursing agency who sent me to hospitals all over London, so I got to travel around to different towns a lot. I agree, you're probably better off staying at the contiki headquarters, it'll be easier for you! 

So electrical engineering? Well done on finishing and getting a job, must have been hard work. I think it's an awesome idea to travel before starting work, definately a hard earned break! And a chance to play up before starting full time work! Heidi and I have never been to the US, will get there one day! Not too sure about the diving.... so cant give you any tips! Hey Erin... the days are totally flying by!! I leave in a 8 days for London! We're totally stressin about packing too... I'm not even sure what I'm packing in yet. I think we're both getting a suitcase and an internal frame backpack... and then stuffing a sidebag into the backpack for day traveling. We haven't made reservations at the hotel yet for the night before the tour starts either... haha. So much to do!!! I feel like I should have started all this soooo much sooner. At least school is over so I can just focus on getting ready!

London seems pretty rainy from the weather reports I've seen. Hopefully the weather for the rest of Europe is better. I've been reading through a couple of these contiki messageboards to find packing lists.. haha Need to buy a bunch of stuff before I go as well.. whew... lol.

Yeah... I'm glad I'm taking a break between work and school. It's like we've been in school for the last 20 years! Need a break.. haha! Time for the "real world"... lol. My friend and I have been planning some kind of trip since the end of high school and we're finally doing it. I'm totally excited! I'm just worried about forgetting something! Sounds like you know whats up for Europe... any advice? Your last trip sounds awesome! Thats the cool thing about medicine... can work anywhere in the world! Have you been to any other parts of the world? You'll have to visit the US sometime... I need to go to down to your part of the world sometime too.
