Yeh i was meant to be doing this one starting October 1st, but it got cancelled too. So i'm on this one now. In hindsight, this one will be much better (Ocktoberfest anyone?!?!?!)...but yeh, doing this solo, so looking forward to it!
yeah we will be in London for a week before and after the tour. Octoberfest will be amazing- thats the main reason why we choose the tour for these dates...
Who knows?? The last European Contiki I did (Italy and Greece) had about 8 Aussies, and 25 or so Americans! I almost learnt more about America than I did about Italy on that tour :P
What have you both got lined up to do in London? There is so much stuff to do that I can't decide!

Well i have to go down to Brighton for a day to meet friends there, there's the tour at Lord's, there's hopefully a soccer match at some point in there too... not sure if Buckingham palace is open this time of year, but if it is that's a bonus... so yeh a few things on the list there.
Hey i am also an aussie going on this tour as well going to be there for a week before the tour and was prob going to go down to the greek islands if anyone is interested i am going alone as well and will also be there for 3 weeks after the tour... :-)
Yeah we are also looking at going to a Soccer match whilst in London - We have friends in Leicester so we will head there for a couple days also. we Were planning to go to Greek Islands for a week after the contiki ends but don't think we will have enough time now. Not long to go now...

Wow soccer match will be GOOD! Just went to the Roar vs Celtic FC match here in Brissy, and atmosphere was good...at either end of the ground. In England, i've been told the atmosphere is like 50 times greater (according to the drunken Scotsman i was sitting in front of).
