Hey there, I am planning on doing this trip on May 3rd too! I am 20 yr old from Canada and desperately need a break from University!! I very well might be going by myself as I am not sure my friend can afford it But I will still have fun and hey if you go to at least I will know there are two loners! haha This is also my first contiki and I want to spend a few days in London but I can't decide if I want to do it before or after the trip. I might be tired after... or I might not want to come home! haha

No I am not staying at the contiki hotel in London (didn' really appeal to me for some reason and seemed kind of expensive) I am either going to stay at a Friend's Flat if his roommates don't care or at the globetrotter inn in Hammersmith (30 minutes from London) At least those are my plans right now. Could change by then

Hey Guys,
Sorry to butt in on your posts, but I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that I am going to be joining you both on May 3rd tour. My name is Laura, and I am 20. I am from Canada and I go to Queens University. This is also my first Contiki Tour and I too am traveling alone, which I am little nervous about but I think it will be an awesome experience (especially if others are in the same boat).
I booked the tour last week and I couldn’t be more excited, even though is it still over 5 months away. I decided to go 4 days before our tour starts, I am staying at the Contiki Hotel (The Imperial) and I am just planning on hanging out with a friend in London and checking out some of the sites before we leave. Anyways just thought I would say Hi. If you guys want to chat my msn/hotmail is laura_trim@hotmail.com.

Hey Laura! I go to the University of Regina in Saskatchewan (If you know it haha). I added you to msn so we can chat. I am a little scared to go by myself but not really because I think we all are haha! I keep driving everyone nuts talking about the trip even though it is five months away so I totally understand your excitment...I have never been to Europe but I am expecting awesome things. Hmm mabye we should all tell a little about ourselves? Like our majors or our jobs/careers? What we like doing etc..? Just a thought. I'll start off by saying I am 20 yrs old (as previously mentioned) I am in my third year of University. I am a theatre design major and love the theatre (something I am really looking forward to seeing in London!) I am also REALLY easy going and pretty outgoing. I get along with pretty much anyone (At least I think) Wow that definately sounded like a dating ad or something haha but anyways I would like to know more about you guys!

Hey Jess,
Thanks for all the info. I just got home and saw your msn message, sorry I missed you I went out for a bit and didn’t sign off. I have actually have been to Regina twice, on my way to BC, but I have never been to the University. Your major sounds so interesting (I also really want to go to the Theatre in London). I am in 3rd year, and my major is in human geography. I have been to Europe once before, I went in grade 10 on a history trip. We went to London and Paris and it was a blast, but I’m sure a lot has changed since then.
I am really easy going too. I pretty much just like hanging out with friends, snowboarding, shopping and traveling. Anyways, hopefully I will talk to you soon.
