My sister and I are probably going on the Amsterdam to Barcelona tour starting July 12, 2007...anyone else planning on doing this tour next year, especially the same one? Just curious Also, any reviews from past Amsterdam to Barcelona trips would be helpful!

I will! And let me know if you find anything. I'm just glad to see someone else who is planning on doing this tour, even if it's not the same dates as us...I was getting worried that it wasn't very popular, though I don't see why it wouldn't be!

No, I haven't booked it yet, but hopefully will be doing so within the next few weeks (as in, before Christmas)...are you doing the same departure date (July 12)?

hey. I just started looking at contiki but if we decide on it, my two friends and I will be taking this tour same date. We still have a lot to look into before we make a sure decision though so if anyone has any insight about it, I'd really appreciate it.

Here is what I've heard so far--the bus trips between locations average 5-8 hours, with the trip to Barcelona being the longest...the hotels are all pretty good, a little far away from the main parts of the city but the girl who told me that said that it is easy to access the cities from them (they are close to metro stations and what not)...anyway, that's about all I've heard, I'm just excited to do this trip because I can't afford to take two whole weeks off from work, for some reason when I say 12 days it doesn't sound as bad, and I've already been to Italy anyway and didn't care to go back, and a lot of the other trips that travel around Europe go to Italy for a big chunk of the trip...keep us updated on whether or not you're going to go on this one, it would be great to know a few people ahead of time!

i did a simply italy tour [although i loved italy], but i did not want a repeat of the same places, etc.

so looks like asmterdam to barcelona is the only tour left. i was worried about the drive time between cities- 5-8 hours is a lot...but you usually catch up on sleep then.

i'm thinking about taking this tour end of may or mid september, but i'm still not sure.

I'll be coming from 10 days on the Greek Islands.

Looks like we are actually going to go July 5th because that's a guaranteed departure date. We are also pricing leaving the US on July 4th and spending an extra night in Amsterdam ;o) Anyone for the July 5th trip?

hi, i'm breanna and my friend's name is allison. We just booked the amsterdam to barcelona trip on july 5th as well. We haven't heard a lot about the tour but we heard that it was definetly a favourite from a group of friends's of our's that went.

I'm glad to see that there is someone else on here going on the July 5th tour! It's guaranteed and according to the Contiki booking agent quite a few people had booked it, but I've left messages on a few contiki message boards and it seems like no one else is even doing the Amsterdam to Barcelona tour, let alone this exact date.

I'm on the A to B from 22 June 2007. Anyone else traveling on the same tour. Or has anyone already done the tour, luv to hear some feedback
